California is seeing very slow progress from utilities seeking to integrate distributed energy resources like solar and storage as non-wires alternatives for bits and pieces of their multibillion-dollar annual distribution grid investments.
In fact, from the casual observer’s perspective, they might not appear to be moving at all.
